Documents Storage

Only an original Will can be submitted for Probate. Without the original document, an estate is dealt with as if a person has died intestate, i.e. without a Will.

It is therefore of paramount importance to ensure that Executors have access to the original documents. When kept at home, they are at risk of being lost or destroyed (fire, flooding, burglaries…).

That’s why Aria Legal has partnered with specialist firms that can offer safe storage and document protection for a small annual fee. Our clients and/or their executors will receive detailed information on where to find and retrieve their documents when needed, together with copies to keep at home.
